We believe the book gap is a problem we can solve with broad community involvement. Volunteers are the heart and soul of this grassroots effort. The Children’s Book Bank engages individuals, schools, businesses, faith groups, civic groups, scouts, teams, etc. in collecting and preparing donated books for distribution.
Last school year, volunteers contributed over 5,700 hours to get books to kids in need.
We welcome many types of volunteers—from those who have two hours to give to those who can help a few hours a week to those who have professional skills to contribute or want a project of their own. Every helping hand allows us to serve more children.
If you need assistance matching your volunteer interests with our needs, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to hear from you!
